The diagnosis of low back pain involves a history of the illness and a physical examination of each patient. It is essential that a complete story of their back pain be reviewed including injury history, aggravating and alleviating conditions, associated symptoms (fever, numbness, tingling, incontinence, etc.), as well as the duration and progression of symptoms. Other testing may be appropriate, including an orthopedic and neurological examination, blood and urine tests, x-rays, CAT scanning, MRI scanning, bone scanning, and tests of the nerves such as electromyograms (EMGs) and nerve conduction velocities (NCVs).
We have found a low back pain cure for many of our Nampa, ID patients that ensures they can avoid back surgery. We feature a leading back surgery alternative for chronic back pain known as the DRS Protocol™. Many of our patients who receive the DRS Protocol™ treatment for chronic and acute low-back pain show significant improvement in the first six weeks.
